The Thunderhead tactical Waist Pack is a multipurpose MOLLE pack that can be used as a standalone waist pack / fanny pack, or it can be attached onto another MOLLE pack to add an extra storage compartment. These waist packs are proudly made in the USA, and are modeled after the military waist packs and have the same dimensions (approximately 6" x 15" x 4"). Made with high quality 500D Cordura Nylon, YKK zippers, and ITW Nexus buckles, this pack is tough and durable.
Thanks to the revolutionary free-rotating MOLLE attachment straps, this waist pack can be attached to the front face, top, or bottom of a MOLLE pack without changing the orientation of the waist pack. This means if you attach the Thunderhead Waist Pack to the bottom of your pack, the zipper still opens to the front, instead of straight down towards the ground like on most other waist packs. The free-rotating MOLLE straps are compatible with any MOLLE pack.
The built-in 2" waist belt is approximately 54" in length, and can be completely stowed away into a back sleeve on the waist pack when not in use.
Appears to be good quality, and dark coyote color can be worn both when hiking and in the woods for hunting. 1st time customer, prompt delivery and very satisfied.
This waist pack was just what I was looking for. I used to use the ACU pattern waist pack attached to the bottom of my assault pack to carry my sleeping bag and it was always a great system. Now that the army has moved to OCP, I’ve purchased a Coyote tan assault pack that’s a little larger than standard issue. It is really hard to find OCP waist packs, let alone coyote tan, but when I found this one I was really excited. Shipping was fast and when I got it, I could tell that it was high quality and well made. The material is thick and durable and the zippers are large and will be able to take a beating. I’m impressed with the product and am very glad to have found something that will match my pack and won’t wear out quickly. Again, a great product and I’ll be looking on this website for more products in the future
