M1956 Sleeping Bag Straps

This is a genuine US military surplus Vietnam-era sleeping bag carrier designed to be used with the M1956 suspenders. These straps can securely hold a sleeping bag, poncho liner, or other gear to your belt or suspenders. These are also great to use as standalone carriers for any sleeping bag, just roll it up and fasten the straps around it and use it as a carrier.

These are new-old-stock surplus items that have not been issued, but due to their age the metal buckles may have some corrosion on them.
