ALICE 1qt Canvas Canteen Cover

This is a genuine US Military surplus 1-quart canteen cover, in Olive Drab green.  This canteen cover is made from a heavy duty canvas material and features an insulated liner to keep beverages hot or cold.  This pouch can be attached to web belts or any ALICE pack using the two ALICE clips on the back of the pouch.  The canteen pouch is designed to hold the 1qt canteen, plus the metal cup and stove stand.  The canteen is held in place with two brass buttons closing the top of the canteen cover around the canteen.  On the front is a small pocket for storing water purification tablets.

Item Condition

These pouches were acquired from the US military in bulk, and have been previously used and issued.  They are in overall very good condition with only some signs of use, possibly including faded coloring, writing, wear on the liner, or tarnish on the snaps.  These pouches are still fully functional for their intended purpose.
