ILBE Assault Pack (MARPAT)

This is a genuine US military surplus ILBE MarPat Assault Pack (Generation 2), designed by Arc'Teryx and manufactured by Propper.  The assault pack is a fully capable standalone pack, but it can also be attached directly to the ILBE MarPat Main Field Pack using buckles that are built-in to both packs.  The assault pack has a load capacity of approximately 1500 cubic inches, and about 40 pounds of weight.  MOLLE/PALS webbing on the front and sides of this pack can be used for attaching additional pouches for even more storage space.

The assault pack has padded shoulder straps with a quick release system and a sternum strap, and an adjustable waist belt.  The back panel is also padded for maximum comfort.  Inside the main compartment is a pocket designed to hold a hydration bladder (not included).  The hydration tube can be fed out through the top of the pack on either the left or right side. 

Quality Guide

These packs have been acquired in bulk from the US military and range in condition, described below in this quality guide.

• New - These packs are brand new, unissued items.
• Like New - These packs may show very minor signs of extended storage, but look generally new and unused.
• Excellent - These packs are basically like new, except they may have a name written or embroidered onto the pack.
• Very Good - These packs will show some minor signs of use possibly including writing, tape residue, slight fading, dirt, stains, etc.  The colors are still pretty crisp.
• Good - These packs will show more moderate signs of use outlined above but are still fully functional.
• Acceptable - These packs will definitely show heavier signs of use but will not have any broken components.
