ILBE Radio Pouch

This radio pouch is a component of the Improved Load Bearing Equipment (ILBE) system and was designed to carry the radio in the MARPAT Main Pack.  It is designed to attach to the inside of the pack, via either straps or buckles.  The Radio Pouch can also be used for other items as well. It's great for camping, hunting, hiking, or just about any other outdoor activities you would need a pouch for.

There are different versions of this pouch depending on how it attaches to your pack, listed below.  You can view each different type of radio pouch by clicking through the product images.

• Gen 1 with metal toggles - This pouch has black trim and black hardware. It uses metal toggles to attach to some Gen 1 packs that are built to accept these toggles.
• Gen 1 with straps - This pouch has black trim and black sliders. It uses webbing straps to attach to the main pack, and will attach to Gen 1 packs and some Gen 2 packs that will accept the webbing.
• Gen 2 with straps - This pouch has tan trim and tan sliders. It uses webbing straps to attach to the main pack, and will attach to Gen 1 packs and some Gen 2 packs that will accept the webbing.
• Gen 2 with buckles - This pouch has a tan border and has buckles for attaching to the Gen 2 Main Pack.

You must match up the correct generation and version of the main pack to the radio pouch otherwise it will not attach.

To know which version of the radio pouch you need, you need to inspect the inside of your main pack, at the top of the back panel inside you will see some kind of hardware meant for holding the radio pouch. Gen 1 packs will typically either need the metal toggles on the radio pouch, or the webbing strap. Gen 2 packs will typically either need the side release buckles or the webbing strap.
